His knowledge of the area was gained through his passion for fishing, as he has experience guiding in New Jersey, New York, the Florida Keys, and in Massachusetts. MoonDog Fishing specializes in fly fishing and light tackle fishing. They mainly target Striped Bass, Bluefish, and False Albacore but also can do offshore fishing for Bluefin Tuna and bottom fishing for Fluke and Black Sea Bass. Please take note that they strictly practice catch and release for Striped Bass. Your captain will provide the rods, reels, tackle, lures, live bait, fly fishing equipment as well as some drinks on board.
